Bon Voyage/Birthday Extravaganza

So I had my going away party Saturday, it was also a combo Birthday/Graduation party since there's no point to have three. Uh it was a blast, lots of booze and my wonderful family and friends. I also got most of what I needed for AmeriCorps gift wise, like my headphones and yoga pants and some white vnecks. Anyway here are a few pictures :]

Less than 3 weeks until the journey begins

   This will officially be my AmeriCorps blog, I considered just posting on my personal tumblr but decided against it. Instead I will probably link the two so that anyone who cares to follow my journey can. Well it is less than three weeks until I board a plane and leave for Perry Point, MD to start work with AmeriCorps. I am excited and nervous all at the same time, but mostly excited. Packing is a slight issue at the moment, I'm trying to heed everyone's advice and only bring the necessities but the necessities to me involve quite a different array of things. Although I have divided my closet in half which is a huge deal for me (clothes fiend). My going away party is this weekend, I'm hoping everyone can make it since I really don't know when I'll see everyone again.
